Please never email me your documents

The tools never upload your files, and email is not a safe way to send them either. If a particular PDF causes a problem, describe it instead: how many pages it has, roughly how large it is, and whether it is a scan, a form or password protected. Or make a copy with nothing private in it that shows the same problem.

Reporting a problem

These details help me find the cause quickly:

  • The page address, for example www.freeaipdf.com/compress-pdf, and the options you chose.
  • What you expected and what happened instead. Copy any error message word for word.
  • Your browser and device, for example Chrome on Windows 11 or Safari on an iPhone.
  • The file's size and page count, and whether it opens normally in another PDF reader.
