Loading the tool…

Merge PDF combines two or more PDF documents into a single file. Add the files, drag them into the order you want, and the pages are copied across exactly as they are, with fonts, images and links intact.

Everything happens inside your browser. The files are never uploaded to a server, so there is no waiting for a transfer, no size queue, and nothing left behind when you close the tab. Documents up to 100 MB each, twenty at a time.

How to use Merge PDF

  1. 1Select the PDF files, or drop them onto the page. You can add more afterwards.
  2. 2Drag the files into the order you want them to appear, or use the arrows.
  3. 3Optionally rename the output file.
  4. 4Click Merge and download the combined PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?
Up to twenty files at a time, each up to 100 MB. That limit exists because the work is done in your browser's memory rather than on a server.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The merge runs entirely on your own device with JavaScript. Nothing is sent to FreeAIPDF or anyone else.
Will the merged PDF keep the original quality?
Yes. Pages are copied, not re-rendered, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution.
Can I change the page order after merging?
Use the Organize PDF tool on the merged file to reorder, rotate or delete individual pages.
