Organize PDF pages online, free

Reorder, rotate and delete pages on a visual page grid.

Loading the tool…

Organize PDF shows every page of a document as a thumbnail on a grid, so you can rearrange, rotate and remove pages by looking at them instead of guessing from page numbers. Drag a page to a new position, turn it left or right in 90-degree steps, or delete it, then save a new PDF with only the pages you kept, in the order you chose.

Everything happens inside your browser. The file is opened on your own device, the thumbnails are drawn there, and the new PDF is assembled there too, so nothing is uploaded and nothing is left behind when you close the tab. Pages are copied rather than re-rendered, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution. One document at a time, up to 100 MB.

The saved file is a new document built from the pages you kept, so bookmarks and document properties such as the title are not carried across. The tool cannot duplicate a page or bring in pages from a second file, and a password-protected PDF is refused until the password is removed. There is no single-step undo for a deleted page, but Reset restores the original document at any point.

How to use Organize PDF

  1. 1Click Select file, or drop a PDF onto the page. Thumbnails fill in a few at a time as each page renders, so a long document takes a moment to show every page.
  2. 2Drag a thumbnail to a new position to change the page order. The label under each page shows its new number and the original page it came from.
  3. 3Use the rotate left and rotate right buttons under a page to turn it in 90-degree steps.
  4. 4Click the trash icon under a page to delete it. Click Reset to bring back every page in its original order and rotation, or Change file to start with a different PDF.
  5. 5Click Save pages (the button shows how many pages will be kept) and download the new PDF, which is named after the original with -organized added.

Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded when I organize it?
No. The file is opened, previewed and rebuilt with JavaScript on your own device. Nothing is sent to FreeAIPDF or anyone else, and the original file on your computer is not changed.
Can I undo deleting a page?
There is no undo for a single page. Click Reset to restore every page, the original order and the original rotation, then make your edits again. Nothing is final until you click Save pages and download the result.
Does rotating a page reduce its quality?
No. Rotation is recorded as a page attribute that PDF readers honor when they display the page. The page content itself is copied untouched, so text stays selectable and images keep their resolution.
Can I move pages between two different PDFs?
Not in this tool, which works on one document at a time. Combine the files with Merge PDF first, then open the merged file here to put the pages in the order you want and drop the ones you do not need.
Will bookmarks and links survive?
Bookmarks and document properties such as the title are not carried over, because the output is a new document assembled from the pages you kept. Links drawn on a page are copied along with it, so web links keep working; a link that jumps to another page of the original may not land in the right place once pages have been reordered or removed.
Why does the tool refuse my file?
A password-protected PDF cannot be opened until the password is removed; use Unlock PDF first. Files over 100 MB are turned away because the whole document is processed in your browser's memory. A very long document may take a while to render thumbnails, especially on a phone.
